If you are flooring a hallway in your home, often times you will want to go with a hardwood or laminate floor. Laminate flooring is used for rooms that have less traffic, while hardwood floors are better left to rooms that have more foot traffic. This is because hardwood flooring has one of the best life spans in terms of durability, and should hold up to increased foot traffic better then other types of floor.
If you are installing wall or floor tile, then ceramic tile may be what you are after. Ceramic tile can be mounted on either the floor or the wall. If you wanted to, you could use the same ceramic tile on both your floors and your wall, although that may look a little strange. We recommend using two different floor and wall tile patterns if you choose to go this route.
